Obituary
Allen Hinkle, 27 of Wharncliffe, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and joined his many loved ones waiting for him in heaven, on March 26, 2013, from Mate Creek of Matewan.Born on September 18, 1985, at Man, he was the son of Thurman and Wilma Berry Hinkle.
Allen was preceded in death by one sister, Melissa Hinkle and his grandfathers, Elbert Berry and William “Bill” Hinkle.
Allen was a wonderful husband, a loving father, brother, uncle and friend. He was a skiter operator for C & A Logging, a member of Faith Church of God and a volunteer at the Wharncliffe Fire Department. He loved being outdoors, riding motorcycles and spending time with his wonderful family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to love and cherish the memory of Allen and to mourn his passing include his loving wife, Sally Hinkle; his daughter, Brittany Hinkle; his son, Isaac Hinkle, his father and mother, Thurman and Willma Hinkle; his sister, Janet Berry; his three brothers: Dwayne, Kevin and James Hinkle; all of Wharncliffe; his grandmothers, Janice Bradford of Wharncliffe and Emma Hinkle of Pigeon Creek; his three nephews: Little Thurman and Anthony Hinkle and Wesley Mitchem; his niece, Chelsey Holbrooks; his father-in-law, Edward Jessie of Oceana; his mother-in-law, Unona Jessie of Matewan; his brother and sister-in-law, James and Monica Hite of Pigeon Creek; his brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Melissa Bragg, with daughter, Cayleigh Bragg of Wayne County; his brother-in-law, Edward Jessie of Oceana; his sister-in-law, Destini Toler of Oceana; his special mother and father, Toge and Becky Johnson of Wharncliffe; his special brothers, Bink and Adam Johnson and Brandon Bailey of Wharncliffe; his special son, Little Thurman Hinkle of Wharncliffe; and a host of other dear family and friends.
Friends may gather with the family at the Faith Church of God at Ben Creek section of Wharncliffe on Monday, April 1st from 6 pm to 10 pm with a special service at 7 pm.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, April 2nd at the Faith Church of God with Rev. Danny Ward officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hatfield Cemetery at Wharncliffe Station, Wharncliffe, WV.
Allen will be carried to his final resting place by: James Hinkle, Bink Johnson, Adam Johnson, Ralph “Todge” Johnson, Jerry Bragg, Buck Cline, Justin Hatfield and Johnny Buck Paige.
He is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
