TAYLORVILLE, W.Va. — Earnest Dale Hinkle, 49, of Taylorville, passed away Wed., March 25, 2015, at his home.

Born May 12, 1965, at Williamson, W.Va., he was a son of Shirley Hinkle of Taylorville.

Dale was preceded in death by his brother, Michael "Red Bird" Hinkle.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his grandmother, Emma Hinkle; longtime companion, Tonya Blankenship; daughter, Savannah Hinkle; brother, David Hinkle; sisters, Sherry and husband Rick Staten, and Rachel Hinkle, and nieces and nephews, Jamie, Lea, Sarah, Katie, Teona, Aaron, Jerimiah and Ben.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sun., March 29, at Chafin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Staten, Rev. Jason Allen and Rev. Brian Wellman officiating. Burial will follow in Hinkle Cemetery at Taylorville.

Visitation will begin at noon Sunday at the funeral home.

Chafin Funeral Home of Delbarton is in charge of arrangements.
