Bessie Toni Hinkle

Obituary

Bessie Toni Hinkle 75 of Taylorville, WV went home to be with the Lord Dec. 20, 2015 at the Williamson Memorial Hospital. She was born Oct. 28, 1940 at William Ann Camp, Delbarton, WV the daughter of the late James and Arnetta Venery Hinkle. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Hinkle and a great granddaughter, Kylee Jo Duncan.
Bessie was retired as a family support specialist for the WV DHHR having worked for nearly 40 years. She dearly loved the people she worked with and considered them her second family. She was also a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Varney, WV. She loved to sing at her church and is now singing with the angels in heaven.
She is survived by her daughters, Arnetta "Toni" and husband Bruce Duncan of Taylorville and Lisa Charles and husband Damon Miller of Parkersburg, brother, Albert (Patty) Hinkle of Taylorville, sister, Virginia (Burl) Rogers of McAndrews, KY, Special grandson who lived with her, Chris (Keisha) Carey, grandchildren, Brook Duncan, Joseph (Brittany) Duncan, Tonya (Tom) Robertson, Amanda Duncan, Danielle and Austin Phelps, step grandchildren, Ashleigh, Landon, Anesah and Leah Miller, great-grandchildren, Christian, Trinity, Briley and Elam.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday Dec. 23, 2015 at 1:00pm with Rev. Bill Snodgrass officiating at the Chafin Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hinkle Cemetery at Taylorville, WV. Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6-9pm. Pallbearers will be James, William, James "Bub", and Josh Craddock, Joseph Duncan, Ronnie Hinkle and Chris Carey.
