Nannie June Wellman, 78, of Varney, WV, passed away April 08, 2015, at South Williamson, KY.
She was born Jan. 03, 1937 at Pie, WV the daughter of the late Alonzo and Albertta Varney. She was also preceded in death by brother; Ricky Varney, sisters; Gail Grim and Anna Lee Davis. Mrs. Wellman was a homemaker and of the Church of God Faith. Survivors include her husband Ira Wellman, one son; Ira Timothy (Kathy) Wellman, Varney, WV, daughters; Barbara Wellman and Linda Elaine Williams also of Varney, WV. Brothers; Alvis (Barbara) Varney of SC, Larry (Carol) Varney, Pie, WV, Todd Varney of NC, Robin Varney of NC and Anthony Varney of Musick, WV. Sisters; Darby Varney of NC, Jennifer Chafin, Huntington, WV, Daisy Warren and Sherry Blankenship of OH, Jerry (John) Gidley of IN, Debbie Peck, Huntington, WV, Alma Smith, Red Jacket, WV and Becky Jenkins of OH. Grandchildren; Brian (Crystal) Wellman, Daniel (Brooke) Williams, Josh (Rachel) Williams, Bob Buckner, Kathrine Buckner (Isaiah) Ramey, Stephanie Williams Maynard. Great grandchildren; Taylor, Tucker Wellman, Ethan, Hailey Williams, Kean Maynard, Kaydence Varney, Lilly Ramey, Lacye, Chase Williams. Step-Great grandchildren; Serenity Metz, Rileigh Sullivan and Jayden Varney. Funeral services will be held Saturday April, 11, 2015 at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Brian Wellman officiating.
