Arnold Rife, 70 of Varney, WV passed away October 14, 2015 at his home in Varney, WV. He was born August 22, 1945 at Varney, WV the son of the late Jodie and Ethel Justice Rife. He was also preceded in death by a son, Darrell Rife, brothers, James Burbage Rife and William Hank Rife and sisters, Nancy Jane Rife and Joyce Rife.
Arnold was a retired office clerk. He was very proud of the time he served his country in the US Army. He also was a graduate of Burch High School and attended Marshal University.
He is survived by survived by his step son, Jason Anderson, daughter, Teresa Peters, brothers, Jodie Jr. (Joyce) Rife of Lexington, KY, Marvin (Brenda Carol) Rife of Chardon, OH, Wallace Ray and his wife the late Mary Rife of Varney, WV and his twin brother, Dallas and wife Brenda Rife of Taylorville, WV. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and several grandchildren.
Funeral services will held Saturday October 17, 2015 at 12:00pm at the Chafin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Snodgrass officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00am until the start of the funeral at Noon. Online condolences can be made at ChafinFuneralHome.Com
