Millie Sherman, 87, of Ashland, KY, formerly of Varney, WV
died February 19, 1982 in the Mingo County Health Care Center in Williamson,
WV.
Born March 1, 1894 in Johnson County, KY, she was the
daughter of the late Landram and Angieline Van Hoose Burchett.
She was a member of the Church of God.
Survivors include five daughters, Angie Hinkle of Castalia,
Ohio. Mary Jane Daugherty of Chattaroy,
WV. Emma Hinkle of Taylorville,
WV. Ethel Rife and Elizabeth Tiller
both of Rt 2, Delbarton, WV. Three
sons, Thurman Justice of Cleveland, Ohio, Johnie Justice and Paris Justice both
of Ashland, KY. Two Step-Daughters,
Margareet childers of Shelby Gap and Georgie Haynes of Fairfax, VA. 66 grand children, 134 great-grandchildren,
16 great-great- grandchildren and 31 step grand children.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the
Chafin Funeral Home at Delbarton with the Rev. Richard Brewer officiating.
Burial will follow in the Justice Cemetary at Pigeon Creek.
Arrangements are under Chafins direction where friend may
call after 2 pm today.
