Obituary for Bridgette Ann Hinkle
Bridgette Ann Hinkle 66 of Taylorville, WV passed away April 7, 2021 at her home. She was born January 27, 1955 in Delbarton, WV the daughter of the late Harold and Girley Poffenbarger Smith. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Bill Hinkle, brothers, Harold, Richard, Gary, Linwood and Kenny Smith, sisters, Vesta and Rebecca Smith.
Bridgette was a homemaker but she was best described as Mamaw. She dearly loved her grandchildren. She supported them in all their sports and followed them everywhere. She was a faithful member of the New Beginning Community Church.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her girls, Trinity and her husband Jackie Justice and Renea and her husband Delynn Meek and her grandchildren whom she dearly loved more than life, Caleb Conley, Billy Ryan Conley, Jacklynn Justice, Hallie Meek and Courtney Goble, brothers; Billy (Louise) Smith, James (Mary Lou) Smith, sisters Violet (Jim) Webb, Freda (Freddie) Cline, Ilene (Gene) Martin, Girley (Lindsey) Kennedy, Ola (Gabriel) Roberts. She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews that she loved very much along with her church family.
Funeral services will be held at the Chafin Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday April 11, 2021 at 1:00pm with Rev. Jason Allen and Rev. Brian Wellman officiating. She will be laid to rest by her husband at the Bill Hinkle Cemetery at Taylorville. Pallbearers will be nephews. Visitation will be at the funeral home chapel on Saturday evening from 6-9pm. Chafin Funeral Home is serving the Hinkle Family.
