Thurman D. Hinkle, 50 of Taylorville, WV departed this life Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Taylorville, WV.
Born on November 1, 1973 at Man, WV he was the son of Thurman (Wilma) Hinkle of Wharncliffe, WV and Rose (Browning) Hinkle of Delbarton, WV.
Thurman was preceded in death by his siblings: Elbert Allen Hinkle and Melissa Anne Hinkle.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He was of the Pentecostal Faith.
Those left to love and cherish his memory are his beloved son: Thurman D. Hinkle, Jr of Varney, WV; his beloved grandson: Harlon Erizona Maurice Hinkle of Huntington, WV; parents: Thurman and Wilma Hinkle of Wharncliffe, WV and Rose (Browning) Hinkle of Delbarton, WV; brothers: Kevin Hinkle of Beckley, WV, Gregory Wolford of Varney, WV, and James Daniel Hinkle of Delbarton, WV; sister: Janet Renae Berry of Wharncliffe, WV; special friends: Kim and Terry “Dog” Whitt of Delbarton, WV. He also leaves behind a host of friends and family, including his beloved nieces and nephews.
Friends may gather with the family Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 1:00 till 2:00 pm at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, where funeral services will commence at 2:00 pm with Rev. Danny Ward and Rev. Denny May officiating. Burial will follow in the Riffe Cemetery at Varney, WV.
Thurman will be carried to his resting place by his family and friends.
He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
