Obituary for
Rachael Ann Hinkle
Rachael Ann Hinkle, 53, of Taylorville, West Virginia, entered in to her heavenly home on May 17th, 2024 while at St. Mary’s Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia. She was brought into this world on March 19th, 1971, the daughter of Shirley Jean Hinkle. Rachael is welcomed into her home on high by her baby girl, Lea Gartin, her grandparents, William and Emma Hinkle and Jack and Ruby Stepp, her brothers, Michael Hinkle and Dale Hinkle, and her nephew, David Cline.
Rachael was a loving daughter, never failing to care for her mother when needed. Alongside helping with her mother, she helped raise her beloved grandchildren. Rachael loved spending time with her sister, Sherry, at the restaurant, Sherry Bo’s Diner, where she frequently would help out there.
She will be forever missed by her loving sister, Sherry and Rick Staten of Varney, her brother, David Hinkle of Matewan, her sons, Aaron Gartin of Delbarton and Jeremiah Gartin of Delbarton, her daughter, Sarah Hinkle of Delbarton, her grandchildren, which whom she loved dearly, Tanner, Trever, Kierra, Keli, Noah, Alexia, Grayson, and Raiden, and her great grandson Tre’mir Omari. She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews, Jaime, Ben, Katie, Tiana, and Savanna, her best friends, Tammy Dotson and Angie Ray, and a host of other loving family members and friends.
In honoring Rachael’s wishes, cremation will take place. No services are to be announced at this time. Chafin Funeral Home is proudly serving the Hinkle Family.
